Requirements
Complete applications should be received before February or September due to space limitations. Transfer applications will be reviewed on space available basis.
Students who are wishing to transfer to MIU from other Mongolian and Overseas' institutions should submit these materials to the Admission Affairs Office:
Academic Transcripts from postsecondary institutions
National entrance examination result certificate (for domestic applicants)
Entrance exam score
Copy of National Identification(or passport)
Complete application form
Certificate of High school graduation(or a proof of a relevant education level)
Official high school transcript(s)
Proof of prizes, honors, or merits
Recommendations from either his or her University teacher or organization head
Four 3x4 photos

Entrance Examination and Notification of Admission
Upon the submission of all the required documents, the Admission Affairs Office will make an appointment for the examination date and interview. The entrance examination is an important component of University admission. Transferring students are required to take an entrance examination. Results are given out after at least seven working days from the day of conduct.
Students with successful results must register within two weeks after school starts by paying all the tuition and entrance fees. With registration, transferring students will be considered as valid MIU students.
Credits, Courses and Grades Regulations
After giving careful consideration to student’s GPA, exam result and interview, the acceptance will be determined by the director of Admission, Academic Affairs and dean of the Department. Transferring students will usually enroll into a year below their current year; this means that if a student finished two years in an institution other than MIU, he or she will enroll as a freshman at MIU.
Only the courses that are taken in MIU or the courses that are approved as equivalent will be admitted and recorded on transcripts.
